The car ride felt like it lasted forever. It was the early morning* and—surprisingly enough—raining. Then again, the summer wasn't as unbearably hot as it is now. I pressed my face against against the window, staring out into the rain. I might've even drifted off to sleep if I wasn't shaking with nervousness.

I tried depserately to keep calm, to just focus on the rain tapping on the window. But I just couldn't stop worrying myself! What if we mix with the big kids? What if all these new teachers are mean? What if... WHAT IF THEY DON'T HAVE ANY COCO-PUFFS AT BREAKFAST?!

Funnily enough, I vividly remember getting extremely worried because I had recently learned Murphy's Law: "anything that can go wrong will go wrong." While this only applies to like robotics and fiction or whatever, I still worried myself for no reason thinking about it.

After a long, nerve wracking car ride, we had finally arrived at...

THE SCHOOL.
